2024 Fendt Katana 650
The forage harvester from Fendt: is versatile and powerfulChopping is always about performance. Performing especially well. With results which are qualitatively and quantitatively convincing. We are also about versatility. We want optimum performance and maximum efficiency – no matter what the application. Are you wondering how you can achieve this goal? The answer is the Fendt Katana.
Performance is its strengthThe Fendt Katana has everything you need to give it your all when chopping. With a performance-consistent crop flow trimmed for chopping quality and throughput, as well as an innovative all-wheel drive concept, it is ready for the most challenging operations. The more varied the conditions, the more the Fendt Katana plays to its strengths.
We look back on 10 years of the Fendt Katana. To 10 years of passion and perseverance. The Katana drives us to think differently, to be better, to go further. Because one thing is clear: it keeps going. A new milestone on this path of passion and perseverance is now being launched – the new Fendt Katana 850.
Fendt Katana – Here, nothing is left to be desired!Regardless of whether it is a farm or a bio-gas plant – success and profitability begin in the field. This is where the Fendt Katana comes into play. It stands out for its versatility in maize, grass and whole crop silage and always delivers the best quality at the highest throughput.
Fendt Katana 650 – Compact and powerful. The Fendt Katana 650 is equipped with the proven MTU 6-cylinder in-line engine with a 15.6 litre displacement, which was specially developed for forage harvester use and guarantees maximum throughputs. The engine achieves 650 hp nominal power and meets the requirements of exhaust gas stage 5. Despite its compact design, the engine develops incredible torque even at low engine speeds. The power unit is also particularly low-maintenance, easily accessible and has outstanding running characteristics. In addition, the engine is characterised by high fuel efficiency while the Fendt CropFlow 2.0 has high throughputs.
As much power as necessary- Reduction of engine speed with constant speed of the chopping units for applications with lower power requirements
- Highest economic efficiency
- Highest efficiency: Lower cooling power requirement results in usable additional power for chopping operation of up to 20 kW
- Extended maintenance intervals, reduced fuel consumption, higher cooling reserves and reduced contamination
- Transmission of drive power to the wheels that need the most traction in steep terrain
- Wheel spin is prevented, slip minimised and ground protection maximised
- All-wheel drive rear axle suspension as standard for maximum driving comfort
- Optimum engine utilisation for maximum harvesting performance
- Perfect adjustment of the speed, depending on the crop density
Features may include:
- Perfected crop flow
- Innovative technology
- Versatile attachments
- Smart Farming
- Comfortable cab
